Nvidia is looking to spend hundreds of billions of dollars buying its stock at a time when it's historically cheap based on earnings expectations.

Nvidia's announced entry into the PC chip market sent shares of AMD, Intel and Qualcomm lower as Wall Street recognized the threat.


"We're going to become a very large customer of Intel CPUs, and we're going to be a large supplier of GPU chiplets into Intel" chips, Huang said.
Huang predicted the artificial intelligence market in the world's second-biggest economy will grow 50% next year.

The sales are the first stop in Huang's plan adopted in March to sell as many as 600,000 shares of the AI company through the end of the year.
